PAJennifer Holt

Jennifer Holt is a board-certified physician assistant by the National Commission of Physician Assistants. Jenn is Fairbanks born and raised, and after graduating from Lathrop High in 1997 she attended The Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology-Athletic Training. She continued her education and earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology before moving back to the west coast.

She practiced as an athletic trainer in central California at Yosemite High School for a few years before pursuing PA school. Jenn graduated from UC Davis in 2008 with her Physician Assistant degree, and moved to Salem, Oregon to begin her PA career in orthopedics. In Oregon she worked with a large orthopedic practice gaining experience as a physician assistant with total joint replacements, foot/ankle, and wrist/hand surgeries. Jenn then moved back to central California, where she worked as a PA for a very busy orthopedic sports medicine practice.

Now, after 21 years of being away, Jennifer has returned “home” to bring her extensive PA orthopedic experience to Fairbanks. Her time in both California and Oregon has made her appreciated the great outdoors and Jenn enjoys hiking with her husband and 4 growing children. She is excited for her children to embrace the new adventure of growing up “Alaskan” and to experience new adventures the great state has to offer.
